Our most recent web projects were:-

West Coast Harley-Davidson are Scotland's only Harley-Davidson and Buel motorcycle dealership. They offer a wide range of New and Used Bikes, Clothing and Rental Bikes. They required a revised site to promote their goods, and offer an online shop to buy clothing, accessories and parts. The site offers over 10,000 product variations many with multiple images. The project commenced late 2005, was postponed for a while during 2006 as content could not be added during the busy summer months but was finally ready for launch in November 2006. Clyde Corporate Cruisers offer the ultimate experience in motor yacht transportation. Their boat ‘White Lightning’ is a 38 ½ ft vessel with twin 250hp merc diesel inboard engines, which can transport in the lap of luxury clients at speeds up to 40 knots around the Clyde, or further a field if required. They offer a range of different cruise packages and can also tailor any requirements or requests for corporate days as required.

They needed a site online quickly to co-inside with press advertising that was being run in the pre christmas period and so we created this html based site to suit their immediate needs. The project was completed in about one week during which time a few designs were considered before it was officially launched on the st November 2006

Simple 2 Rent Offer a free service to tenants to help them find properties to rent throughout the UK. Private Landlords can add up to can advertise up to 5 properties to let, each with multiple images Free of Charge and Agencies can add multiple Branches each with many properties. The project started in April 2006 and was launched in August 2006 .

We have been building a new Filemaker database for International Magazines which will integrate with their web site to automate client advertising within their web site. The project is now nearing completion and is expected to be launched soon. Look for changes at International Magazines site soon

Thomson Pettie had not changed their web site steeltubes.com in almost a decade during which time the company had undertaken many mergers and takeovers. To reflect these changes we have just commenced a new content managed web solution for the company. Look out for the launch of thomsonpettie.com during December 2006.

Flip Stores We built this site with online shopping cart using ASP at the front end and an Access at the database back end to provide Americana European Wholesale Ltd with a content managed solution to maintain information pages within the site and the management of their online shop.

The site has been running for a few years now and requires to be updated. We are modifying the structure to an SQL back end and adding a number of micro sites to sell selective merchandise from the Flip Stores product range.

Puffin Dive Centre is located at the Sound Of Mull which has excellent diving conditions. The centre is rated as one of the best diving centres in the world. Accessible from anywhere in the British Isles, Puffin Dive Centre exploits the naturally clear Gulf Stream waters that pass through this region. The area is famous for its many shipwrecks from the days of sail, through the wars to present day with soft corals, sheer underwater cliffs, scenic reefs and fabulous drift dives. They wanted to change their site so that they can regularly update the content and so we are designing a new content manager with online shop to sell new and secondhand equipment. This project commenced 13th October 2005 and was completed in the spring of 2006, however, as the dive centre are at their busiest during the spring and summer months most of the content will not be added by them until they reach their quiet period. Look out for this one late 2006.

Hydreau are a new company with a unique product. Their modern undershot water wheel generates renewable energy at low cost and high yield. It has a long life, can be rapidly developed emits no carbon dioxide has low visual impact and has minimal total lifetime environmental impact. The site is being built as part of the company's marketing campaign and may later be developed to generate online sales. This project commenced 9th January 2006 and is awaiting client material to complete the project.

Orsleys are jewelers who specialise in the quality end of the high street jewellery market. Diamonds are graded by colour, clarity, cut and carat (the 4 c's). Many high street retailers only state the carat value of their gems and gloss over the colour and clarity aspects. Yet it is colour and clarity which differentiate true quality from run of the mill. Orsleys typically sell diamonds in the colourless to near colourless range with hardly visible to small markings. The site needs to promote these quality values and will offer detailed information to explain the 4 c's to help guide the discerning public to select the best gem at attractive prices. This project commenced 21st December 2005 and is awaiting client material to complete the project.

Here are some of our past projects:-

B G Club was built for the Business Growth Club within Falkirk Enterprise Action Trust. It is a content managed solution with a private members section including a forum. We were instructed to undertake this project by Blue Kite Communications bluekite.co.uk who needed this project completed quickly and within a restricted budget. Consequently the project was somewhat rushed as we were only instructed on 15th September 2005 and it had to be completed by the 30th of September. By using elements of past code we were able to rapidly develop this solution such that the structure was finished on the 25th September and now awaits population of content by Blue Kite so it will be launched January 2006.

Fantasy Speedway is a game where participants built their team from a list of real Speedway Riders. The actual results of the events these riders participate in are recorded so that the fantasy teams can compete in a league. Prizes are awarded together with the opportunity to play against Fantasy Speedway opponents from all over the world. The project commenced December 2004 but could not commence as a gaming licence had not yet been issued. Some revisions have now taken place, the licence has been awarded and the game will be start with the 2006 season.

Stephen S Gordon Glasgow Architect needed a site to promote his practice. This content managed solution ensures that Stephen can quickly and easily update the site as new projects are undertaken or completed. Behind the scenes there is a private section where clients can upload or download material relevant to their project. This project started Jan 2005 but was put on hold and therefore was only Completed December 2005

1st Hole Golf had been operating for a few years before our client bought it. He wanted a fresh look and a whole new shopping experience. The client wanted to advise and inform the buying public about his company and the products he was selling and so we introduces a minor change to the usual online cart by adding pages of information at each category, sub category and of course for the product. The result give a more advisory style of shopping experience rather that the "we have it for only ..." as is typically found on the web. This project started March 2005 but was put on hold whilst the owner sorted some technicalities associated with the business transfer and was completed November 2005

Guitar Strings is the site for Merchant City Music. The company operate a number of Filemaker databases in their retail premises and warehouse and wished seamless integration between these and their online shop.

We built a new Filemaker solution to act as middleware between the existing solutions and the revised web site which uses Microsoft SQL Server at the backend together with a new front end for the site using ASP. The site offers a shopping cart, news and customer information section. As products are added or details edited within the shop Filemaker system the SQL database is simultaneously updated. The project started in September 2004 and was completed within budget on 27th September 2005. The company has changed owners since and they have adopted a new site.

JMC Tiles This site was recently redesigned following the total refurbishment of J McCallum pct Ltd Dumbarton Road showroom. This is a simple content managed solution which empowers the company with a means of uploading images of the latest tiles, bathrooms and showers to the site such that they can arrange pages that better illustrate the constantly changing product range. It has an ASP front end and Access database at the backend. The solution also uses an ASP Component to ensure images are dynamically resized server side before being presented to the end user. As such members of staff uploading images do not need to think in advance how the image might be used and worry about optimising it for web use. This solution primarily uses one of our "off the shelf" Content Managers and so was completed within one day, 25th September 2005.

M Tek BMW are specialist BMW dismantlers who needed a site where they could rapidly change the content and images of vehicles they had acquired for breaking into spare parts. They had a limited budget and so we offered a solution which used many components of code from past projects to help us rapidly deliver a quality yet budget priced solution. The solution uses an ASP front end and Access database backend to provide an easy to use content managed web site. As one of the mechanics said "I know nothing about computers but this is so easy to use even I can build great looking web pages!" The project started on the 31st March 2005 and was completed on 24th May 2005.

Anglo Construction is a basic html site for an Ayrshire based builder and is awaiting content so that the project can be finalised. The project started 11th February 2005.

The Artist is a temporary Flash page for Richard Lawrence of Mad House Studios. The project started 1st April 2005. A full content managed gallery with online shop is planned for 2006

Herbalife Scotland was developed for a number of Herbalife Distributors mainly within Scotland and is designed so that numerous domains can feed into the site. The results are managed such that the user sees the correct domain name and any enquiry is fed back to the correct distributor. The site is content managed and offers product information and a form of online shopping without order fulfillment. This is because each distributor must properly evaluate a clients needs before supplying goods. The site commenced 6th April 2005 and was completed on 30th June 2005 within budget and on time.

AELZ The Active England Learning Zone web site helps Active England funded projects with the monitoring and evaluation needed to report to Sport England. The site and its sister site Community Club Development Programme ccdprog.org use an ASP front end with SQL backend and also incorporate forums where members can share experiences and opinions. These sites are content managed solutions such that Hall Aitken and Bearhut, the organisations commissioned to help projects can regularly update the information provided. The project commenced on 27th January 2005 and was completed and delivered on time for the 14 th February and within budget.

Nickleby and Nickleby Kit These full content managed solutions use an ASP front end and Access backend. The projects commenced on 20th January 2005 and was completed within one month and delivered on time and within budget.

taxiadvert.co.uk is another content managed solution with some complex image management. Clyde Taxi Advertising wanted a solution which enabled then to quickly upload new images of client advertising campaigns to further enhance their clients promotion. The site facilitates this need and the image gallery selects random images from the site to present an ever changing array of images. The project commenced on the 3rd September 2004 and completed 20th December 2004 on budget.

Jim Leggate Associates This was a simple solution for a business performance coaching company. The site is a single page separated into layers to give the illusion of five pages. This is because section three includes a Windows Media Video (wmv) which loads in the background as soon as the site opens. That way by the time the viewer reaches the page with the wmv it is ready to play. Commenced 18th October 2004 and completed within two days.

Catering World is the online trading arm of Gas Heating and Appliance Services Ltd who specialise in new and reconditioned catering equipment. The company required a low cost solution to meet their online trading requirements which we achieved by using elements of code from past projects to deliver a content managed site with shopping cart within a very restrictive budget. The project commenced on 5th July 2004 and was complete by 10th September 2004

FSCStore.com In the world of commerce, and the Internet is no different, the “store” is a basic component. In the food industry it’s the grocery store, in the office products industry, it’s the office supply store and in the area of general merchandise, it’s the general or department store. On the Internet, the most basic tool of business is the Internet Store or "Web Store". Stewart Fencing Stewart Fencing Ltd cater for a wide range of Fencing and Retail Markets, from industrial to Agricultural and domestic. They manufacture and sell a wide verity of Garden Products including, decking, sheds and Play equipment, wendy and gang Huts. The web site facilitates orders from both retail customers and trade enabling multiple discount structures and volume discounts which are automatically imported into their Sage accounts system. The system we designed can cater for any number of discounts per product although in Stewart Fencing's case they only use a maximum of 51 possible prices per product. This is arrived at from a Customer Discount Code and the Quantity of units purchased. This was a challenging task and we are as pleased at the outcome as our clients were.

SSI Enclosures Ltd have sadly ceased trading. They were a company who distributed a wide range of electrical and mechanical products and accessories for telecommunications, data processing and electronics around Britain and Ireland. SSI Enclosures are UK-based suppliers of SME quality products. They specialise in custom configuration of Server Racks, Robust Outdoor Cabinets and Electrical Boxes all configured to clients' exacting specifications. We built SSI a full shopping cart site enabling customers to pre select items to be built into their custom cabinet. A behind the scenes ASP based admin function enables the company to manage their data and administer orders.

VVS Technology are a leading specialist Research and Development company working on innovative technology-based products and systems for the established CCTV Industry. The site not only acts as an information resource on the company and its products but also has a shopping cart that enables online order fulfillment. It uses our Content Management module to provide VVS the resource to maintain their own site.

World Homes Network is a marketing tool for property agents around the world. The site hosts an abundance of maps and data in its 3000+ static pages to empower those about to move to new areas with a host of useful details. These static pages are further enhanced by a massive back end database hosting around 2,000,000 homes for sale and or let at any point in time. Plus links to thousands of property agents around the globe.

The site receives millions of unique viewers each year. Property agents effectively offer their clients access to the homes they have listed in the world-homes.net database and whenever a prospective customer enters a search parameter to find a listing not offered by that agent but similar to listings offered by other agents the customer is invited to migrate to the World-homes.net site and broaden their search. Whilst each agent passes over those customers they cannot help they are all fed those clients that they can help.

cancer-concern.org, a charitable contribution to a worthy cause. However cancer concern have ceased due to a lack of funding and so if there is another charity out there who could make good use of this domain it will be maintained for them by us free of charge. IAMGlasgow.org, is the site for the Glasgow Motorcycle division of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. The site offers a set of ASP based admin pages to enable authorised members to maintain the content. A forum allows members to keep in touch, check changes to timetable for events and raise questions whenever help is needed.

Vacuum Forming Scotland Limited manufacture plastic products predominantly for the printing industry. They produce customised quality PVC ring binders, wallets, and assorted packs and polypropylene ring binders, document cases, slip cases and assorted packs to customers specification.

The business also supplies quality Cutting & Creasing Formes to the printing and packaging trade, In-house Die Cutting, Kiss Cutting & Blind Embossing for both the screen printing and Lithoprinting Industry. High speed Die Cutting is carried out on their range of Heidelberg Automatic cutting machines.

The site we designed at vacfs.co.uk acts as an electronic brochure through a Flash based front end and also has a electronic commerce area where established customers and suppliers can place repeat orders, view invoices and arrange electronic payment of accounts.

The Children of Shakespeare Company is owned and operated by Dr Maureen Lappin Carroll who is from Scotland but now resides in Melbourne. The site was one of our first content managed solutions and remains in it's original design.
